​Therapeutic Riding:
     There is a beautiful connection made between a horse and its rider. The connection is even more beautiful when the riders are someone with special needs. At The Gathering Place Stables we tailor each session to the individual’s needs. Each session is generally 60 minutes long. We believe that “most” riders are capable of learning how to lead (always with assistance), grooming (if able to hold brushes and stand), saddling horses (again with assistance if needed), and learning how to ride. What a better way to get physical exercise, improve coordination, emotional and psychological good health, and the love of horses. *All activities depend on the individual’s special needs and abilities.​
